Board of Directors
MUM’s Board of Directors are a group of professionals from varying backgrounds, who generously donate their time and expertise to guide the mission, vision and finances of the organization to ensure that the needs of its clients and staff are met.
Board President
Derrick Owens
Derrick joined MUM's Board of Directors in 2016. He became Vice President in 2017 and President in 2021. Derrick regularly helps with MUM's food drives and fundraisers.
Board Treasurer
Abbe Levin
Abbe joined MUM’s Board of Directors in early 2021. She showed up to volunteer at a Sunday mobile pantry during the early days of the Covid crisis and never stopped showing up.
Board Secretary
Marge Higgins
Marge joined MUM’s Board of Directors and became Secretary in 2020. She retired in early 2019 after a 33-year career with the federal government.

Rosemary “Ro” Clarke
Ro joined the MUM Board of Directors in 2017. Ro is a projects coordinator, and accounts receivable and payable administrator for Capitol Pool Service, Inc.

Roger DeLucia
Roger joined MUM's Board of Directors in 2021. Roger regularly helps with MUM's office food pantry and food drives.

Ruth Harvey
Ruth Harvey joined MUM’s Board of Directors in 2025. Ruth is a long-time supporter of MUM’s mission to reduce hunger and provide emergency food and assistance to our local community.

Tara Z. Kern
Tara joined MUM’s Board of Directors in 2019 and has served as both Treasurer and Vice President. She is the chiropractor and owner of Complete Chiropractic and Rehabilitation.

Marlena Salgado-Felix, CPSM
Marlena joined MUM’s Board of Directors in 2023 after volunteering at MUM and gaining a deep appreciation for MUM’s impact in the community.
