Abbey LevinBorn in DC and raised in Montgomery County, Abbe Levin joined MUM’s Board of Directors in early 2021. She showed up to volunteer at a Sunday mobile pantry during the early days of the COVID crisis, and never stopped showing up. Her volunteer work began with Broadway Cares EFA and delivering meals for God’s Love We Deliver in New York City where she lived and worked for many years as an actress.

Abbe is a graduate of Tulane University and has a graduate diploma from the University of Wales. She is involved with several not for profit organizations that address food insecurity, health challenges and educational opportunities and has served on the Board of the Parkinson Foundation for the National Capital Area, as well as on the advisory board of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.

Professionally, Abbe continues to work with her family running the legendary Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center, a presence in Montgomery County for over 50 years.
