Everett King joined MUM in June 2013 to serve as treasurer and accountant. Everett brings over 20 years of accounting experience in commercial and non-profit organizations. He is currently works as a project accountant for NCBA CLUSA (National Cooperative Business Association – Cooperative League of the United States), which is both a trade organization for cooperatives domestically, and a non-governmental organization aiding the economic growth of communities around the globe. He has also provided accounting services for First Baptist Church of Wheaton and Chevy Chase Baptist Church.
He was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida where he also attended and graduated from Florida State University. After graduation, he spent a year in Brazil where he taught English as a second language and later married. He has lived in various parts of the U.S. before settling in the Washington DC area where he has been for the past 25 years. He is an active member of Pathways Baptist Church of Gaithersburg where he serves in the praise and worship band.
