Thomas Giblin joined the board of MUM in October 2013. For the past year he has been the Secretary for MUM and his appointment to that role continues until May 2019. Thomas is involved in many initiatives and programs that benefit MUM including his work on MUM’s annual fundraiser, Taste of Wheaton, the Labor Day Food Drive, March Against Hunger, and the USPS Stamp Out Hunger food collection, which happens every May, for which Thomas lends his support coordinating and sorting the large quantities of food MUM receives from the event’s generous donors.
Professionally, Thomas is an attorney. He currently works for the U.S. Department of Labor managing a division that provides legal advice on federal workers' compensation.
While his four children were students in the Montgomery County Public Schools system, Thomas was an active volunteer including serving as president of the Einstein Booster Club, a program for which he still provides occasional support.
