Food Assistance

Hunger is unfortunately an all too common problem for those working hard to make ends meet. To address hunger, MUM stocks a food pantry at our office location and operates a mobile food pantry which serves clients in the communities where they live.
Emergency Food Assistance
No one in our communities should go hungry, yet some of our clients are facing food insecurity. MUM's weekly food distributions supplement our clients' food budgets with nonperishable items such as cereal, rice, beans, pasta, canned meats, soup, vegetables, and fruit as well as a fresh produce such as potatoes, onions, greens, bananas, and more when available. Food is available once a month per household to clients living in Montgomery County.
MUM offers two food pantry options:
1. MUM Food Pantry
The office food pantry is open during regular business hours, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm.
